  • I have configured the Camera IP and added the Camera view, but I can’t see anything on the camera.

    The camera live stream is served at the local network without an SSL certificate. If you are using the Mozilla Firefox browser, this widget requires two conditions to work correctly:

    1. Ensure that the Camera IP is configured correctly and reachable from the network where the browser/tablet/smartphone is. Try pinging the IP address.

    2. As the camera content is served without an SSL certificate, allow the insecure option content in the browser to integrate the camera with the BySoft Insight's secure page.

  • My device is connected and data is flowing, but the OEE, Cutting time, and Starve & Block charts are not displaying any data.

    Since the data is grouped by shifts, it is essential to have this properly configured to compute the KPIs. Therefore, assign each device to a Shift model.

  • How does the Overflow property of the shifts work?

    Overnight shifts are a frequent practice in the industry. Imagine a shift spanning from 10 PM to 6 AM. When requesting data for the night shift of the 13th of February, should BySoft Insight use the shift that started at 10 PM on the 12th and finished in the morning of the 13th, or should it use the shift that started at 10 PM on the 13th and finished the next morning?

    The shift overflow option allowsBySoft Insight to make a choice and avoid ambiguity.

    • Next day. This option overflows from the start of the shift to the next morning. With this choice, the night shift of the 13th of February is the one that ended in the morning of the 13th since the start of the shift on the 12th has been overflowed to the next day.

    • Previous day. This option overflows the end of the shift to the previous day. Hence the night shift of the 13th of February would be the shift starting at 10 PM on the 13th and finishing early the next morning.

       

  • What is the difference between cutting time and work time for cutting devices?

    The cutting time for laser devices is the time the laser beam is on. Cutting time isn't always part of the work process. The cutting time is less than or the same as the time it takes to do the work. Though, live cutting times can sometimes be longer than work times if live cutting times have lower computation latency than work times.

  • How do I configure the firewall to allow the traffic of provider services?

    You need to allow traffic of these two resources:
